About the owner

Meet the only man who will ever enter your home.

Adam Sable, Owner. Former Force Recon Marine. Former insurance adjuster.

Handing someone your key and your alarm code takes trust, and trust should have a face and a name. This page is both. Force Recon Home Watch is a one-man company, and this is the man.

One man, on purpose

No crew. No rotation. No strangers.

When you sign up with a big company, you get whoever is on shift. The person who walks your house this month may be gone the next, and you never learn a single name. Force Recon Home Watch works the opposite way. Adam does every walk-through himself, every visit, every time. No employees, no subcontractors, no third parties, ever.

That is not a staffing shortage. It is the product. The face on this page is the only face that opens your door, the only person who holds your key, and the only person who knows your alarm code. When you call, Adam answers. When something is wrong at your house, Adam is the one standing in it when he calls you.

Most owners are hours away while their house sits empty: snowbirds wintering in Florida, families with a lake place they use in summer, folks gone a month at a time. Before they sign up, they all ask the same question: who exactly is in my house? This page is the answer, and the answer never changes.

The record

Two careers built on trust and details

01

The Marine years

Adam retired from the Marine Corps, where he served in Force Recon, the Marines' reconnaissance force. Five combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Along the way he held a Top Secret clearance, which means the United States government looked hard at his life and trusted him with its secrets. The point is plain: he was trusted with far more than a house key, by people who check.

02

The adjuster years

After the Marines, Adam worked as an insurance adjuster in the Wilmington, North Carolina area. The job was other people's worst days: burst pipes, flooded floors, houses damaged for weeks because nobody was checking on them. He learned that empty houses get hurt quietly, and that after damage, the first thing an insurer asks is when somebody last checked the house. That question is why every visit here ends with a dated photo report.

03

Home turf: Bedford

Adam moved to Bedford, Virginia, and started Force Recon Home Watch here. He lives in Bedford, about 20 minutes from the Smith Mountain Lake shoreline, and covers only this territory: the lake, Bedford, Forest, and Lynchburg. Not a franchise and not a route run from another state. Your house is in his neighborhood, and he treats it that way.

How your house and keys are treated

The rules Adam works under

Your key

Keys are coded by number, never labeled with your name or your address, and kept locked up. Nobody else has access to them. If you cancel, your key is returned to you within 7 days.

The record

Every visit ends with a dated photo report in your inbox within 24 hours. There is always a record of exactly when Adam was in your house and what he found and did there. It protects you, and it keeps him accountable.

No repairs, no sales

Adam checks, documents, and reports. He does not do repairs and he does not sell anything else, so you will never get a pitch standing in your own kitchen. Small things he just handles, like a limb dragged out of the driveway.

Your privacy

Privacy runs both ways. Adam does not need your name to watch your house: an address, an email for the reports, and a phone number for damage calls are enough. And what he sees inside your home is never discussed with anyone.

Checked like a recon patrol. Documented like a claim file.

That is the standard, on every visit, from the only man who will ever walk through your door.
